Prenatal Lactation Classes

Join our in-person, prenatal breastfeeding class designed exclusively for expecting parents and their support person. This hands-on class provides comprehensive guidance and support to help you confidently prepare for breastfeeding. Led by our lactation consultants, you'll learn about:

  • Proper latch techniques to help you avoid pain

  • Milk supply management to help you breastfeed confidently

  • Practical tips for the first days home

  • How to address common challenges, such as engorgement

This interactive class include practical demonstrations, Q&A opportunities, flange fitting for your breast pump, personalized tips, and a goodie bag with take-home materials and breastfeeding freebies. Equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to nurture your newborn effectively in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Research shows that when expecting parents get prenatal education around breastfeeding, then they are 2x more likely to still be breastfeeding at 3 months. Aetna

Aetna currently covers 6 lactation visits for most families. If you are interested, you can use one of your lactation visits toward covering this in-person, prenatal class. Self-Pay

If you do not have Aetna health insurance, we are unfortunately unable to access your insurance for this class. Our in-person, prenatal lactation classes are $75 per couple. Please click below to register!
