Infancy

How we can help.

  • Infant Reflux

It is normal for infants to spit up as their digestive system matures and fully develops. However, if your baby is having excessive spit-ups, displaying signs of discomfort, such as arching their back, or having forceful or curdled spit-ups, then your little one may benefit from nutrition counseling to improve their symptoms and ensure they are getting enough nutrients to grow & thrive.

  • Starting Solids

Your baby’s first food is a big deal. It can be exciting to watch them explore new foods, but it can also be scary and overwhelming trying to figure out what and how to introduce solids to your little one. We are here to help you figure out which method of feeding is best for your family, how to respond to gagging and choking, and what, how often, & when to feed your baby.

  • Growth Concerns

Infancy is a time of rapid growth and development. Therefore, if your child’s pediatrician has shared concerns that your little one is not growing well or worse “failing to thrive,” that can be scary! At Milestones Pediatric & Maternal Nutrition, we work with you to ensure your child is growing and thriving throughout their first year of life and beyond.
